Call for participation in this ToT programme generated a significant interest, attracting 320 applications across the Eastern Partnership countries. In May 2015, a group of selected participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine embarked on their learning journey.
The programme included four training units, covering the following topics:
- Organisational development for CSOs
- Participation of CSOs in policy dialogue, monitoring of policy processes
- Strengthening the role of CSOs in the sphere of effective influencing on the policy process and reforms
- Design and delivery of training programmes
An international team of trainers were engaged into the programme, providing subject matter knowledge and sharing skills on adults learning practices. The process was re-enforced by introducing assignments in the periods between the training units, allowing participants to implement new skills in practice, either individually or in their country groups.
95% of the participants are positive that this programme has met their expectations. According to their feedback, they have become much more competent and confident in designing and delivering training programmes for civil society organisations.
Based on the received skills and knowledge, participants of our ToT programme are developing their own training projects to share learning with the wider public.
