In the beginning of 2015 a series of multi-stakeholder round-tables mainly related to the implementation of the EU-Molodova Association Agreement (AA) in different sectors such as education, agriculture, election legislation, or decentralization was organized by IDIS Viitorul in Moldova.
Two issues – information on the AA/DCFTA in general and on the provisions regarding the agricultural sector – were chosen for the implementation of an information campaign to be implemented in the second half of 2015. Experts from IDIS Viitorul conducted a number of workshop/seminars in the regions of Moldova targeting local authorities, civil society and business. At the beginning of 2015 awareness-raising seminars on the benefits of the Association Agreement were conducted by IDIS Viitorul. The aim of the seminars was to set the ground and to develop an information campaign explaining the benefits of the Association Agreement for various target groups in the different Moldovan regions. The seminars were organised with civil society organisations and different Ministries from November 2014 until March 2015.
Additionally awareness-raising seminars promoting national electionswere organised. A roundtable with the Central Electoral Commission and civil society in addition to four workshops took place aiming to promote the importance of transparency during elections and the campaign "Your Vote Counts".
